Here are a few things ive been working on in my Soul House Board Book and my Art Journal.

Ok new promise to self....BLOG at least 3x weekly

Im working on it I promise. Things have been in a bit of mess in my life and not much crafty time was an option. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im so excited to share in July I signed up for Soul Restoration with Brave Girls Club. And im making time for myself and my crafts and art for me to keep me full and happy. Not that my life makes me Unhappy just feel a fuller heart with time for arts and crafts. So I will post a few peeks here and there but we arent supposed to share it all so only teasers!!

I am such a bad blogger....

My new office and up and running and ive been super busy g3etting the new vendors web portals installed and figure them out. So fae so good. We also have the Title comopany up and running Joe is fab im so glad we were able to get him. He is hiring already for a examiner. Ive got Jane in the wings ready to start in a weeks notice my guess at the latest it will be May 1. We are getting a boatload of properties.
On to my craftyness hmm is that a real word?? Well after decorating the office ive been a little crafted out. Gotta get into some crafts soon or im going to totally miss Easter.

my weekend was great how about yours??

Friday night we got to have Clay for the night. I swear he is the sweetest baby ever. Tons of fun now he has his first tooth, about ready to crawl, and trying to say words.These are pics from the night.
Then we helped my brother get his new furniture delivered and set up and ending up having a late lunch with them. Is it was nice to visit with them. Got a little bit of running around today done. Bought myself the InStyler the new hair straightner. Works pretty good. I think once I trim my hair tuesday it will be easier.
Looking for a great week I have family coming down from Indianan I havent seen in several yrs.

Life sidetracked by a hospital visit.ugh

My poor hubby ended up in the er monday night and got admitted for 3 days and was poked, stabbed, tortured and got no sleep. But at this point thank good he didnt have a heart attack. This was angina which from what they told us it the "pre" heart attack. Any blockage troy has is under 30% so they cant do anything other tham meds anyway. Poor guy though the entire thing scared him to DEATH. We are going to have to really work on our eating habits and get his blood sugar under control and weight down. So SouthBeach Diet here we come and im pulling out my walking shoes and hitting the pavement.

Stressed....I need to scrap!!

Things have been really crazy for about a month now and its all starting to catch up with me. I made 2 trips to Comp USA and 2 trips to Best Buy to get everything I needed for my office computer and still need 1 more thing that I am ordering online so I can run the triple monitor system. I think I drove for an hour total back and forth. Then our road to the office was closed, blocked off with at least and I kid you not 10 cop cars,bomb squad,fire trucks and god only knows what else. Turns out something left a backpack at the door of a dr's office and they called cops thinking it was a BOMB! Turns out it was just a backpack---school books and all. They even had the bomb robot open it. That is what the state of our country has turned into. Its scary really scary. I couldnt imagine living in the middleeast where car bombs are the norm. It reminds me even though things have changed and dont feel as safe as we used too we are still very very lucky to be where we are in the world.
I should be able to find sometime to scrap this week and weekend. Troy is traveling so I have a little more time on my hands. I just got my flower diecuts from Julebox and cant wait to dig into them.

Is this baby adorable or what? I swear he is the most adorable baby and so freaking sweet you want to eat him up. lol

Im a bad blogger...

Well I cant believe so many days have gone by since my last post. Ive been aweful busy and making a lot of progress on getting the new office up and running. Found furniture and had the new desks delivered and set up this week, they look great! Got phone, cable, internet all in. Network will be all set up tomorrow and oh boy I get to set up voice mail tree.Still have some file cabinets, small desk for assistants, and lobby furniture. But I still have till March 15th.
No time to craft to speak of....sucks! Maybe soon

Im back.....MN was to cold.

Well I arrived home last night safe and sound. My trip was great I got to spend more time with Long and Tracey, their wifes, and the staff out there. It was good to see the operation in action.
Was also able to hit Mall of America for a few hrs before I left. WOW that place has it all let me tell you. The one store I was most excited by was Archivers and it didnt disappoint. I will share my haul later.

Well im packed and ready to go.....leaving the Sunshine state and about 75-80 degree days...to hmmmm. The high tomorrow is 38 and Friday back into 20's! Im not sure being the "florida girl" that I am I will adjust well! LOL I must admit im alittle excited at the idea of seeing snow fall. Not the gloomy gray days, bone chilling cold, and slush that used to be snow they have right now.
A trip of business not pleasure but im fitting in the Mall of America thanks to my wonderful boss! Im going to spend a couple days to see how the office works, the systems they use and how to implement it all in our new office opening March 1st! We have secured a office space and its a great location, good floorplan, and decor. So much to do to get up and running and the men in charge are awesome and have done so much already. Getting very excited with it all.

Well tomorrow evening the guys will be here and our 2 days of jam packed activities begin! Several interviews, appts to see office space, getting office furniture, and town tour! Tonight and tomorrow morning im going over all the details of things that we need to get done while they are here. The list gets longer everytime I look at it(cause I remember something else). But at any rate im very EXCITED and looking forward to getting things up and running and get offically employed again!
Time off has been nice but im BORED yep I cant believe it myself but only so much claning, laundry, crafting, and babysitting can be done before you get stir crazy.
Will update everyone on my adventure friday or saturday. Keep you fingers crossed Ive thought of everything and we are good to go!

trying to furnish a office..sounds fun right???? NOT

Ive never had such a hard time picking out 4 desks, a conference table! I see one thing and think oh yeah is perfect and then find oh 10 things that I dont like about it. Went to 3 discount furniture stores and even a thrift store on Saturday and a big fat 0. So im headed off tomorrow to another couple places. I found 1 yes only 1 out of the 4 I need on Craigslist that I would love for my office. But then I think well maybe they should all be the same uniform desk throughout you know. Hmmmm
Im going to have to think on that one since they wont all be in the same office so why do they need to match?

Super busy..lots of projects in the works!

Wow its been a very full week so far. Ive crafted my little butt off in the evenings. I dont think ive produced that many lo's in a month ever. My creative juices are OVER flowing. Maybe its the excitement of CHA and all the new yummy lines that I cant wait to get my hands on.
Also getting the new office up and running is coming together quickly. I will love to be working and making $ again. Been looking at some potenial office spaces and let me tell ya there so such a huge variety for the $ here. I think I have found my top 2 but I really need to get inside the second one. But location is perfect, the layout is perfect and the price is right so that is a good sign. When Long and Tracey get into town next week I should have my top 3 to choose from. Then we can get things signed and start moving!!!

Well its official im OLD and my babies are graduating

I spent 2 hrs last night picking out Announcement,thank you cards,seal etc. for the boy. I cant believe he is done officially in just a few short mths. It seems like yesterday when I delivered him and held him the first time, when he started school and teared up for his mommy, when he got his first truck and now. :-(
Well my daughter isnt far behind him at all she will be done by August and graduating then. So in about 2 mths I get to do it all over again with her. :-(
I am happy with the timing of my new job and the company start up because I will be so involved and busy with it I wont notice when they leave the nest as much. (pshhh who am I kidding?) Im going to be driving my hubby nuts for sure!
Well im really enjoying seeing all the videos and pics of new products coming from CHA and super excited about getting my grubby little hands on them. Hope you are Too!!!

new biz cards pics..uggghhh

Over the years I have simply shyed away from the camera when ever humanly possible. So of course new job new cards....cant I just use the pic from 10 yrs ago when I had less wrinkles, frown lines, dark circles, and a turkey neck???? Pleassssseeeee.
Sothat did.nt work. I had a few test pics done today and I cant see any I truely love (lets be serious unless I look like catherine zeta jones im not happy) So here are the bottom 3 any thoughts would be great

My adorable Nephew

Had to share this video of the most adorable baby in the world. My nephew is such a lil doll. Also more news on the new job. Things are coming together quickly and I will be back working in March it looks like. It will still take some time to get office space, set up, get licensed with DBPR and alot more. But each day we are one step closer. Im so excited!! Im going to Minnesota for 3 days in 2 wks to see how they run the office there, get an idea of the programs and so forth. Im such a Florida girl I cant imagine all the snow and cold weather I will be getting into there. But should be a adventure. I will share more as I can.

I passed...im offical

Glad I took the refresher course it really made a difference today. I felt like I may have missed 5-10 max on the entire exam. So yeah!!!
Ive been crafting like crazy several new lo's, flowers, and even a valentine decoration or two. I must say with the stress of the new job coming up and getting the licenses I need to do my job its been nice to put it all aside and Craft-just make my version of ART. Pics to come.
The partners are coming to town late next week to find us and Office space. Then once we get leases in order we can get furniture and equipment so we are rolling by March 1. I will be going to Minnasota for 3 or 4 days to see how the office works there so this one can be set up the same. Get a handle on the systems they use and so on. Very excited about the whole process....

Test take 2....

Well im one of the 60 something% who fail. Jeezzzz it is impossiable to study around here I swear between interviewing for jobs and trying to get the license im on serious OVERLOAD.
So here is my NEW plan.....a Cram class refresher on Tuesday and retest later in the week after hiding out from my family to study either at libraray or in my office. I also know my new bosses are going to have some fun stuff I need to do as well so ive got to buckle down and GET IR DONE! as they say in the south.
On a light note I had a sleepover with my fave lil man Clay and will share a couple pics with you....he is almost 5mths now and getting so big.

oh boy am I a blog slacker

I cant believe it was last thursday when I blogged last. Sorry guys. Last week was a bit crazy. I had my 3rd interview with the realty company im really hoping to go to work for. Babysat my favorite little man, got a call back from one job that was commission only ( that would work if I wasnt broke already). At any rate im back alittle discourged but here.
Also got my flowers ordered from Julebox they are sooooo much to play with and I have been.I did 3 or 4 lo's tha I will share later this week.
Back into Study Mode and I have the test soon so im spending almost my entire day with my nose in the books. I will post again tomorrow or maybe later tonight with those pics.

2011 Crafty start

I must say ive been very productive so far in 2011. Several pages done, xmas minibook, and flowers made. I did finaaly break down and order some flowers from iamroses.com. Can hardly wait to get them and share. They are much much cheaper than Prima even with shipping from the UK. I will share more soon on that and my new pages.
Studing for my Real Estate exam which is next Friday....so no time to craft for the next week at least. Also on the job hunt ive had a second interview arranged for tomorrow with the company I would love to work for. This job offers alot of advancement. Fingers crossed.

Art Festival

We went to the Art festival today. It was held in downtown and they blocked off about 6 blocks, food vendors, the whole nine yards. Although there were so many amazing painting,photos,pottery and jewelry it was soooooo expensive. I found 2 things I loved a photo put on 3 canvas pieces of the local pier at sunset but it was 500.00 and a ring made of silver and a mystic fire topez that had the most amazing shape that was 260.00. So needless to say we walked, enjoyed the sights, ans left the same as most I would suspect. I guess I need to stick to the Arts and Craft venues!! more my price range. LOL

Job prospects

Thank good ness finally two good jobs ive interviewed for this week. Both are right up my alley and offer room to advance and use my real estate background and will allow me to do sales if I choose. The one im most excited about is opening a new office here with a company from MN moving into our areas who deal with REO's. Did a Skype interview will one exec. and owner is coming into town this weekend and ive got a second interview with him. So fingers crossed everyone please.

This is a clear album I used from bo bunny I think? Anyway...the papers are from a kit from oversees and im not sure who makes the paper but it was a lovely collection. I used several handmade element and added sparkle and bling here and there. Hope you enjoy.

My new year is off to a bumpy start

Well I dont think fighting into the new year with my teenage daughter was not my idea of ringin in the New Year. So tomorrow im offically calling a "DO OVER" and starting anew.lol

Bring on 2011

Well another year has come and gone.....2010 brought so many challenges in our family I am kind of glad it has come to an end. I will say we have learned alot from it and been able to wade through it and try to see the good or lesson from each one.
Soooooo 2011 please bring our family and Friends a Healthy, Happy, and Prosperous New Year.!!! Not sure some of us can handle another year like the last and I know my family isnt the only one. I pray the lord gives us each new found strentgh to overcome any struggle or challenge. I pray for inner guidance for myself to find what im looking for. To reach my goals and never stop reaching for more this year.
